It is an honour and a gesture of respect and friendship to give or receive a cymbidium. The cymbidium orchid represents pure, valued and respected friendship. Although Chico looks a bit reluctant to be posing for this portrait in his cymbidium head piece, isn't this the true meaning of friendship? A little bit of give, take and compromise. This series is a celebration of friendship on every level, and the love that is shared between people and animals.
